I have several years’ experience working for the NHS (IAPT) offering therapy for adults (first point of GP referrals, mental health agencies and self-referrals) counselling people suffering from anxiety, panic attacks, depression, anger issues (including aggressive behaviour and offending), low self-esteem, lack of confidence, lack of identity, stress, bereavement, relationship issues, medically unexplained symptoms, Fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue syndrome, IBS long term illness, sleep disorders and trauma.
I have over 23 years combined experience working with addiction both as a Therapist and Addiction Specialist Nurse (RGN) in the NHS leading hospital and abroad.
I have specialist training and experience working as an Addiction Counsellor at Catalyst Drug and Alcohol Addiction Service based in Guildford (formerly known as SAdAS).
I provide support for people dealing with a wide range of addictions (alcohol, drugs, gambling, shopping and more) and also for their families, carers and concerned friends. I am very experienced in Relapse Prevention, Anxiety & Anger Management.

I have experience working with people suffering from Dementia and those in palliative care, providing support for their families and carers. I have an extensive experience in bereavement support.
I have also had experience working with students as a Wellbeing Advisor during my employment at University of Surrey.
